"AS World Cup fever mounts, we are urging all ticket holders to start planning their trips to the Stadium," says MMC Moosajee, MMC for Transport at the City of Joburg.
"There will be road closures around the stadiums and no parking will be allowed in the stadium environs. We are encouraging ticket holders to use public transport such as Rea Vaya or Metrorail or to use Park and Walks and Park and Rides.
Spectators who want to utilise Park and Walks and Park and Rides to get to matches are urged to buy their tickets in advance. No tickets will be for sale at the designated Park and Ride or Park and Walk venues, so only people with a parking ticket will be allowed entry. All these sites will be identifiable by signage.
